Beinn Chuirn

A most exciting day out yesterday on the mighty Beinn Chuirn, featuring a failed rendez-vous in Morningside, a mad dash North by Jack in his trusty steed “The Phantom”, a steep ascent, an even steeper descent, a sprint along the railway track failing to find a gap in the barbed wire fence, and hot drinks and sticky buns in the Green Welly.

The next proposed outing for the MMM (Midweek Mountain Marauders), subject to us achieving critical mass, is an ascent of Ben Lomond by Tarmachan ridge on Friday 29th July. This just happens to be on Jacqueline’s to-do list. If Jack is free he offers a ride on the infamous Phantom as an added incentive.
